VFX Technical Artist

We are looking for a talented Technical VFX Artist to create high-quality real-time visual effects while ensuring strong technical performance in Unity projects. This role bridges art and engineering by designing visually appealing effects, shaders, and materials that are optimized for real-time applications. You will collaborate closely with artists, developers, and designers to enhance visual impact while maintaining performance and scalability.

Technical Requirement
  • Strong artistic eye combined with technical problem-solving skills

  • Clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Self-driven and adaptable in fast-paced production environments

  • Ability to balance visual quality with technical limitations

  • Create and implement real-time VFX using Unity VFX Graph and Particle Systems

  • Design and optimize shaders and materials using Shader Graph or custom solutions

  • Integrate VFX with gameplay systems and animations

  • Optimize effects for performance, memory, and platform constraints

  • Support and improve VFX pipelines, tools, and workflows

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical or visual issues related to rendering and effects

  • Strong hands-on experience with Unity VFX Graph, Particle System, and Shader Graph

  • Solid understanding of real-time rendering, lighting, materials, and post-processing

  • Experience with performance optimization (overdraw, draw calls, batching, profiling)

  • Familiarity with tools such as Unity, Blender or Maya, Substance Painter/Designer, and Photoshop

  • Understanding of real-time engine constraints for PC and mobile platforms

  • Basic to intermediate C# scripting for effect control and tooling
