3D Character Rigger and Animator

We are looking for a skilled Character Rigger and Animator to bring our fighters to life in a stylized realistic action fighting game for PC and console. This role covers the full character pipeline, from building rigs, creating punchy and believable animations, to setting everything up inside Unity for gameplay. You will work closely with designers, programmers, and other artists to make sure every move feels impactful and reads clearly in combat.

Technical Requirement
  • Good eye for movement, timing, and character personality

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Openness to feedback and iteration

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Design and implement core systems and technical architecture, Multiplayer in Unity

  • Build clean and flexible character rigs suited for fast-paced combat animation

  • Animate a wide range of fighting moves including combos, hit reactions, idles, movement, special attacks, and cinematic sequences

  • Set up animations inside Unity using animator controllers, blend trees, and state machines

  • Maintain consistency with art direction and the stylized realistic look of the game

  • Collaborate with designers and programmers to ensure animations feel great in the player's hands

  • Polish and iterate based on gameplay feedback, because feel is everything in a fighting game

  • Troubleshoot rigging and animation issues across the pipeline

  • Proficiency in Maya or Blender for rigging and animation

  • Experience with Cascadeur for physics-driven and action animation

  • Strong Unity 3D skills, especially for animation setup and integration

  • Solid grasp of animation principles such as timing, weight, spacing, and impact

  • Understanding of game animation workflows including looping, blending, root motion, and frame data

  • Portfolio or demo reel showing character animation work, ideally with action or combat content
